1. Under the condition of aggregate with high moisture content, is there a feasible method that improving the burner configuration to reach the rated output of asphalt plant?

The moisture content could influence the quality of finished product. The best choice is to reduce production in case of non-standard condition. Otherwise, that will increase energy consumption and reduce utilization rate.

2. Which kinds of thermal insulation forms can be adopted for finished produce bin?

There are mainly three thermal insulation forms, these are hot oil heated, power heated and covers with insulation layer over the finished produce bin.

The main function of thermal insulation is that can storage asphalt within the short time.

Compared with other two insulation forms, power heated is more convenient to operate, and on or off can be controlled easily in any time. Clients can choose any thermal insulation forms according to the distance between their site and working site, quantity of delivery vehicle, local climatic conditions, and other factors etc.

3. How many times does the bitumen need be weighed usually ?

In general, asphalt plant with output below 160T/H adopts PLC control system to weigh and secondary weighing before we produce，which guarantee the accuracy of bitumen weighing arge asphalt plant with output more above 160T/H would adopts more than 2 times to weigh the bitumen, which depends on the ratio and accuracy requirements.

4. Could we continue to operate asphalt plant on rainy days ?

Under the normal working condition, the water content of aggregate is not exceed 5% so that asphalt plant can reach theory output. We usually require not exceed 10% of water content. if exceeding 10%, the operating costs will be increased significantly and output will be very low at the same time.

Thus, if rain would just last short time, asphalt plant can be also operated normally, but that will lead to output decline largely. On the other hand, we suggest that clients stop production plan if it is raining heavily or occurring other specific situations.

5. How many years of bag house filter can be used normally?

The service life of bag house filter has important relation with the temperature and corrosive of material. All asphalt plant and asphalt plant parts produced by our company conforms to industry production standards.

Under the normal conditions, if the temperature inside the bag house filter not exceed 180℃ and maintain the bag filter regularly by removing slag and ash so that the bag can last 8 to 10 years without any problems.
